About Marshall County Court Records

Marshall County court records are split among the Circuit Clerk, District and Circuit Courts, municipal courts, the Probate Court, the Sheriff's Office, and Alabama agencies. The right source may also depend on whether a case arose in Guntersville, Albertville, Boaz, or another city. We built this site to make those official portals, offices, and request paths easier to identify.

Why We Built This Site

Alabama provides several public routes to court and government records, but Marshall County does not use a single county-clerk model. Circuit Clerk Angie Johnson's office maintains state trial-court files through the Guntersville and Albertville courthouse divisions. Probate Judge Andrea Lecroy's office handles estates, guardianships, land records, and marriage-certificate recording. Sheriff Phil Sims's office manages the county jail roster and Most Wanted information, while municipal courts keep many city traffic, ordinance, and misdemeanor matters. We organize the researched contact details, search portals, fees, and request steps for these distinct offices.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Alabama court, the Marshall County Circuit Clerk, the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, the Probate Court, or a state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
